Must possess a high school diploma or GED Have at least 1 year of experience working in Adult Foster Care.
Be in good physical health, including a negative TB test.
Be trained in CPR/FIRST AID, basic medication, and recipients rights.
(we will train you and pay for it.
Provide at least two employment/character references.
Meet good moral character qualifications.
Complete AFC/Direct Care Worker training.
Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
Have a valid drivers license and a car.
Responsibilities include:
1.
Providing safety, and supervision for residents in the home.
2.
Cleaning 3.
Meal preparation 4.
Assistance with basic needs of residents with mental and physical disabilities.
5.
medication distribution.
6.
Possible activities with residents including trips out of the home.
7.
Keeping records of all activities and charts.
8.
making good decisions for the welfare of the residents.
